Westgate CVI Presents: Mean Girls – The Musical

Proceeds from the show support Beendigen, making this a night of theatre that also gives back to the community.


No Man’s Land – Magnus Theatre

Magnus Theatre presents No Man’s Land, one of Harold Pinter’s most entertaining and unsettling plays. When two aging writers meet late at night and are joined by two younger men, conversations turn into power struggles, memories blur with reality, and humour gives way to menace.

This intimate Studio Theatre production offers audiences a sharp, thought‑provoking exploration of identity, recognition, and uncertainty.

Quest: Tech & Gaming is a free, interactive community event designed to spark curiosity and inspire exploration through technology and gaming. Hands‑on exhibits allow visitors of all ages to experience robotics, coding, engineering concepts, and emerging tech.

Highlights include virtual reality gaming, interactive demonstrations, and immersive exhibits showing how technology shapes everyday life.


Big Red Pull

Get ready for a high‑energy fundraiser where teams of 8–10 pull a 12‑tonne fire truck 100 feet to support BETTER is POSSIBLE, a United Way–funded initiative addressing homelessness, youth wellbeing, food security, and more.

Awards include fastest pull, best team spirit, and top fundraising team. Every dollar raised stays local, making a real impact right here in Thunder Bay.


Ukrainian Folklore – Zorya Ukrainian Dance Association

Date: Friday, May 9
Time: 7:00 PM – 9:30 PM
Location: Thunder Bay Community Auditorium

Experience the beauty, depth, and storytelling of Ukrainian culture at Ukrainian Folklore, featuring 85 dancers ages four through adult. The performance showcases regional costumes, traditional music, folk dances, and mythological storytelling.

Funds raised during the event support humanitarian efforts for Ukraine through the Canada Ukraine Foundation, with tax receipts available upon request.
