Just a few weeks ago we were asking “where are those Summer temps”? Well…they’ve arrived. Thunder Bay is now under a “heat warning” this weekend.
Most of Canada is dealing with ‘heat warnings’. Parts of B.C averaging daytime temps of 40 C. Thunder Bay hasn’t quite reached the 30 C mark…but with the humidex….it’ll feel closer to 36 today.
AND we think that’s hot. LAS VEGAS is now on it’s record 6th straight day of daytime temps reaching 46 C or more. Vegas forecasters have called it the most extreme heat wave in the history of record keeping in Las Vegas since the 1930’s.
Have you heard of DEATH VALLEY, CALIFORNIA? They’re dealing with daytime temps of above 50 degrees. (yes, 50 Celsius). The other day, it hit 53 C. That’s 127 Fahrenheit. Their overnight low…averaging 42 C. I bet they’d welcome a daytime high of 29. LOL
**stay hydrated, drink lots of water, find some shade. SUMMER HAS ARRIVED!
