An organizer with the “We Are One” anti-racism rally is thrilled with the response she’s received so far.
Ashley Nurmela is in her first year at Confederation College in the Native Child Family program and decided something needed to be done after police investigated racist Facebook pages.
Nurmela says the message is that as a community we won’t stand for racist behaviour.
