Waterfront BIA Wants Growth

The Waterfront Business Improvement Area wants to expand it’s boundaries.

Chair Jim Comuzzi tells us it’s so they can add businesses that are in their area but not considered members.

“We’re glad to be bringing in Gateway Casinos to join our fold, hopefully city council approves that. Later we can take little pockets of four or five businesses in different parts of the downtown and have them join.”

The BIA Chair adds the casino wants to be a voting member of its organization so they can make positive changes to the city’s north core.
