In a different life, I lived in downtown Toronto and worked in retail and call centers. My friends and I were big on staying up late and going to bed just as the sun came up on a pretty regular basis. Well, one of the things we would do to relax, and creep ourselves out a bit, was to watch Teletubbies just before going to bed. It was a British show, aimed at pre-schoolers but ended up being a cult favourite for many late night partiers. Over the years, it’s become a bit of a jokey touchstone for my friends and I (now that we all have kids) but we haven’t actually been subjected to/watched the show since the early 2000’s at best. Well, that MAY change. Netflix is rebooting the series starting November 14th with new voices, new songs and new sun babies! I’m not sure I’m ready for this but thankfully I think my kids are too old for it! Check out the trailer below. The new series launches on Netflix November 14.
