Sad news last night that James Caan passed away at age 82. I know he was probably best known for his role in The Godfather and the television series Vegas, however I’ll always remember him for his role as Kathy Bates victim in Stephen King’s ‘Misery’ and likely most importantly as Walter. You know, Buddy the Elf’s father from the movie Elf? Yep, my favourite. Check out this clip below where Buddy goes to the doctor. John Favreau plays the doctor and noted that James Caan actually turned his back to the camera during the scene to hide the fact that he was laughing at Will Farrell’s antics! Our condolences to Mr. Caan’s family and friends.
