City police say they’ve recently been following up information from the original crime scene of a 10-year-old murder.
Officers are hoping to solve the homicide of 67-year-old Alma Teravainen, whose body was found on July 25th, 2005, in the variety store she operated in a Cumberland Street apartment complex.
Detective Inspector Phil Levesque says they’re getting closer to closing the case. He says OPP helped process the crime scene,and yielded information police feel could lead to the identification of a suspect.
Police have just released a new video about Teravainen’s murder, which can be seen below.
