Use Common Sense Driving Today

Take your time on area roads this morning with fresh wet snow falling overnight.

City police say they haven’t responded to any crashes, but notes you should still drive according to the weather conditions.

We have reports into our newsroom of a crash on the Highway 11/17 at John. OPP say there are no injuries but two vehicles were involved.

OPP add there is a single vehicle collision with a guard rail at Dawson and Strawberry Hill Road. There are unknown injuries at this time.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Transportation reports that both Highway 61 and Highway 102 are bare and wet with some snow packed sections.

Heading east and west on Highway 17, officials report bare and dry road with some wet and snowy sections.

OPP are warning you as well to drive slowly on area highways.
