OPP say firefighters had to use what they call “the jaws of life,” to free a woman from her car, following a two-vehicle collision yesterday afternoon.
The crash closed the corner of the Thunder Bay Expressway and Red River Road, while emergency crews worked to untrap the woman with the rescue tool.
Police say her car flipped from the impact. Her injuries are not known at this time, but it’s believed they’re only minor.
