UPDATE: Portion Of HWY 11 Back Open

Regular travel is back on east of Thunder Bay.

A section of Highway 11 was closed Tuesday after washout damage was reported between Beardmore and the Highway 11-17 junction at Nipigon.

The closure had in place since late Monday afternoon.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
