Update: Man’s Body Found In Junot Park

The city police Crime Scene Investigation Unit remains at Junot Park looking into the discovery of a man’s body in a snow bank just off a path at the north end of the park in what they term as a sudden death.

Police say they received the call around 9 o’clock this morning from a person walking in the area who called them from the Junot Fire Station.

They aren’t saying much about the incident right now adding, they don’t know what the cause of death may be, how long the body was there, or whether foul play is involved or not.

They’ll be securing the scene until the results of a post mortem are known. (Photo: Rayson Martyn)
