Confirmation of a blast northeast of Thunder Bay.
Natural Resources Canada, in a follow up email to Acadia News, reported the 2.1 magnitude blast at approximately 5:28 p.m. Tuesday that was felt in several locales by several listeners, including on the Fort William First Nation and in Oliver Paipoonge.
Seismologist Michal Kolaj noted that the blast may have been associated with highway construction.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
