A good start for one of Thunder Bay’s charitable organizations, as City employees launch this year’s United Way Employee Campaign.
The organization kicked off the fundraiser with a luncheon today, collecting donations towards the campaign’s goal of $196,275.
Any workplace can choose to donate part of their paycheques for the annual fundraiser.
The Municipal Division Employees campaign has gathered more than $2.5 million in donations over the past 20 years.
