Union Alarmed At Rising Roseview Death Toll

There is still no end to the COVID-19 outbreak at Southbridge-Roseview long term care home.

The facility has been dealing with an outbreak since November 17th and with deaths now up to 20 union spokesperson Kari Jefford is disappointed it never seems to end.

“It’s very alarming that the death toll continues to rise and the disease continues to spread…it’s not a surprise, it’s very disturbing” notes Jefford.

The Unifor official adds there are still no laws in place to regulate staffing at long term care homes in the province and believes that is contributing to the outbreaks.
