Two People Hurt In Current River Blaze

Thunder Bay fire fighters say two people have been sent to hospital for treatment following a house fire in Current River.

They were called to the blaze just before 8 o’clock this morning at 346 Grenville Avenue.

When they arrived they say thick smoke was coming from within, but crews quickly put it out.

It appears the fire started in a bedroom, with damage extensive.

There’s no official word on the cause yet. (Photo: Vic Krasowski)
