TSB To Probe Monday’s Dryden Air Crash

The Transporation Safety Board is going to have investigators in Dryden tomorrow.

They will be looking into the cause of Monday’s Bearskin Airlines crash which injured Thunder Bay curler Rick Lang.

The TSB says it will gather information and “assess the occurrence.”

Curler Krista McCarville, who was also on the plane, said the aircraft crashed into a snowbank as it was starting to take off. The propellor of the plane broke through the fuselage, striking Lang in the hand.

There were six passengers and crew onboard the aircraft at the time.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
