A first for the American Commander in Chief.
The United States House of Representatives votes 232-197 in favour of impeaching President Donald Trump, which is historic because no president has ever been impeached twice.
The matter will now go before the senate, which will decide whether Trump should be convicted on the charge of “incitement of insurrection” and be removed from office.
A conviction would prevent the outgoing President from running for president again.
