Tree Of Hope Campaign Reaches $19K

You can help light the second Christmas Tree in front of the Thunder Bay Police Station by donating to their Tree of Hope campaign.

Constable Sharlene Bourdeau tells us they are attempting to raise $48,000 towards a reward for the conviction of someone in connection to a Missing or Murdered Indigenous Woman. “I know there are a lot of worthy causes out there but it would be awesome if we could reach our goal to light the second tree, and ideally I would like to light all four trees.”

Bourdeau stresses they will continue to accept donations throughout the year towards this cause. Thunder Bay’s Tree of Hope campaign currently sits at over $19,000 dollars. You can donate by visiting the Tree of Hope website.
