A section of gravel trails on the west side of Boulevard Lake is closing for some restoration work.
The trail is part of the former Lakehead Psychiatric Hospital trail system.
The city is asking trail users to respect posted signs and barriers around the closed section of the trail.
“We greatly appreciate residents’ patience and cooperation as this important restoration work is completed, ensuring this popular trail remains safe and enjoyable for everyone,” said Werner Schwar, Supervisor of Parks and Open Spaces Planning.
The paved trail between Lyon Blvd. West and Toledo Street remain open and available.
The work is taking place Wednesday through Friday.
