OPP confirm there was a fatal collision between a pick up truck and a transport this morning on Highway 17 between Kenora and Dryden near Willard Lake.
That section of highway remains closed while police investigate.
Police tell us the male driver of the pick-up truck was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The driver and passenger of the tractor trailer unit. sustained minor injuries.
