Toys for Tots is in with its grand total, local firefighters helped to raise over $134,000 to buy toys for next year’s Christmas Cheer families.
Organizer Paul Penna says two weeks ago they weren’t sure if they would be able to reach that marker but thankfully Thunder Bay came through and continued to support their charity cause.
Penna adds on top of the financial donations people spend a lot of money on buying toys for their cause. Penna describes the number of toys brought in as a mountain.
