Dire COVID-19 forecasts in Ontario could mean even tougher restrictions.
The province reached its highest number of cases Thursday at over 4,700, and modeling data shows by the end of May, there could be at least 12,000 cases a day.
There is talk Premier Doug Ford is watching the situation in Quebec, where there’s a curfew, but riots have resulted from that.
The Ontario government is also reaching out to the federal government for assistance.
The premier will make another announcement Friday afternoon.
