Toronto Man Nabbed In South Side Home Takeover Attempt

A 26-year-old Toronto man will be back before a judge to face several charges, including Being Unlawfully in a Dwelling.

He was picked up by Thunder Bay Police Saturday night at the home on Leith Street and learned he was involved in the drug trafficking trade.

Police raided the home and picked up suspected cocaine, $5,000 cash, and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.

The other charges include Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 and Obstructing a Peace Officer.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
