Tonight….look up…way up: it’s the INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION!

About 10 years ago, a few friends of mine introduced me to this really cool thing about looking up into the sky at a particular time and seeing a ‘bright, white light flying across the sky’. I didn’t think it was a big deal at the time, as I thought it was just shooting stars.

Turns out…it’s the INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION. It’s quite remarkable. And, to this day, my family and I enjoy this every Summer.

For example, Thursday, July 29, 2021 (tonight): look up to the sky in a ‘west’ direction starting at exactly 11:24pm, you’ll see the Space Station fly over Thunder Bay for about 4 minutes.

If you miss it, there’s another opportunity Friday night at 10:36pm, along with other chances over the long weekend. If you’ve seen this before, you know what I’m talking about. If not, give it a try. AND, it flies over our city at a speed of close to 20,000 km/h!! #mindblown
