TODAY IN THE BAY: “A warning from the L.C.B.O”?

Have you picked up your holiday alcohol?

The LCBO is reminding you to get it sooner than later. Why? Because of the ongoing global supply chain issues. This means some of the shelves might be a bit emptier than usual. Some products affected, include different champagnes, wines from New Zealand, Australia and South America. Plus, imported spirits like Tequila and Scotch. These shortages will actually last until early next year.

Have you noticed your favourite booze not in stock?

Random L.C.B.O fact: 2019-2020 annual report shows revenues of $6.7 billion. Dividend to the Ontario government was $2.38 billion. The L.C.B.O has over 670 locations across the province.

Cheers!
