Thunder Bay’s police chief awarded King Charles III Coronation Medal

Thunder Bay’s police chief has been awarded a King Charles III Coronation Medal.

Ontario’s Solicitor General Michael Kerzner and Thunder Bay-Atikokan MPP Kevin Holland presented Darcy Fleury with the award on Thursday.

Fleury was recognized for his years of service with Canadian police forces, along with his contributions to the Thunder Bay Police Service.

The Coronation Medal program was created to mark the Coronation of King Charles III.

It recognizes individuals who have made a significant contribution to a particular province, territory, region, or community in Canada or attained an outstanding achievement abroad that brings credit to Canada.

In total, the medal will be presented to 30,000 Canadians.
