Thunder Bay is launching a survey to get some feedback from residents on transit services.
This comes as the city is in the process of updating its asset management plan.
“Gathering feedback from residents on what levels of service are expected from the assets owned and operated by the City is an important part of developing the Asset Management Plan” explains Program Lead, Asset Management, Amy Coomes. “This information helps us to better understand people’s experiences, concerns and needs, and to manage our assets to address those concerns and meet those needs, while also planning for the service requirements of the future.”
The city is working to transform city transit into a new hybrid model that will include a combination of fixed routes and on-demand service.
They are looking to identify areas for improvement to help guide investment priorities.
The survey can be found here, and it will be available until April 11.
