A 21-year-old Thunder Bay resident is facing child pornography charges following an investigation by the Cyber Crime Unit.
The Thunder Bay Police Service received information earlier this year about a resident uploading child sexual abuse material.
An investigation into the matter resulted in officers executing a search warrant at an address on Woodlawn Avenue on Wednesday.
A suspect was located and arrested and multiple electronic devices were seized.
The accused appeared in court on Wednesday and was remanded into custody with a future court date.
