Thunder Bay resident charged with drug trafficking in Dryden

A Thunder Bay resident has been charged with drug trafficking in Dryden.

Dryden OPP members saw a suspicious person at a business at around 6 p.m. on June 24.

One person was arrested and officers seized suspected illicit drugs, including cocaine, crack cocaine and hydromorphone.

A 54-year-old has been charged with possessing cocaine and hydromorphone for the purpose of trafficking.

They are also charged with failing to comply with a release order, possessing proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000, obstructing a peace officer and failing to comply with a probation order.

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
