UPDATE: Suspect Named In Robbery Cases

Police apprehend a suspect connected to six separate robberies.

The 25-year-old Jordan Jeffrey Connell of Thunder Bay made a bail court appearance Saturday and faces charges of:

• Six counts of Robbery
• Six counts of Disguise With Intent
• Possession of Stolen Property Over $5,000
• Seven counts of Breach of Probation

The first reported robbery took place at a Circle K on Arthur Street, June 23.

Surveillance footage showed the suspect approaching the clerk, demanding money, and leaving on foot.

The investigation also revealed the accused was in possession of a stolen vehicle.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
