Thunder Bay Man Arrested After Sexual Assault Investigation

The Thunder Bay Police Service is asking for any possible witnesses or victims to come forward as they carry out a sexual assault investigation.

It started after police began looking into an incident where a man exposed himself to two people when they were at a bar on the city’s north side. This occurred late Sept. and was reported in Oct. Police then heard of a second incident occurring the same day in an area at Lakehead University, in which a man also approached a female victim and exposed himself.

It was then found a similar incident happened in early Sept. again on Lakehead University property. Further investigation led to police discovering the male suspect was the same in all three instances. The male accused was arrested and taken into custody by the Thunder Bay Police Service on Wednesday, Oct. 20.

Wani Geremiah, 21, of Thunder Bay, is charged with four counts of Sexual Assault and four counts of Indecent Act.
