Thunder Bay Hospital Foundation August 50/50 to feature adoptable pets

The Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation is shaking things up in August for the organization’s monthly 50/50 draw.

The Foundation has teamed up with the Thunder Bay and District Humane Society to feature adoptable pets across its platforms, aiming to increase exposure and support adoptions.

Starting on Wednesday, adoptable dogs from the Humane Society will be featured every Wednesday throughout August on the Foundation’s social media.

Then, on August 8, cats will get their turn in the spotlight in honour of International Cat Day.

“The Dog Days of Summer is one of our favourite campaigns of the year because, like so many, we’re animal lovers too,” says Hospital Foundation CEO, Glenn Craig. “Each year, we receive about 1,000 or more pet photo submissions from people eager to share the animals they love.”

“Teaming up with the Humane Society brought even more heart to the campaign, giving us the chance to help more pets get seen and hopefully find their forever homes.”

Tickets and more information about the draw can be found by clicking here.
