Local Man Handcuffed On Canada Wide Warrant

Thunder Bay Police picked up a man wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant.

The 42 year old, from Thunder Bay, had parole violations related to a manslaughter charge Tuesday.

Police made the arrest at a residence on McKellar Street South between Donald and Arthur Streets just before 8:00 p.m.

Officers were also looking for the accused to face additional charges relating to a September 22nd incident.

Charges include:

  • Resist Peace Officer
  • Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
  • Flight from Peace Officer
  • Obstruct Peace Officer

He’ll appear in court next Wednesday.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
