Six new cases in the region since the previous report.
With five cases resolved, the active count now sits at 11.
Two of the new cases were contracted because of travel outside the region, while two were from close contact.
There is now one less person in hospital with the virus.
Provincially, Ontario records 581 new COVID-19, 457 coming from people who are not vaccinated.
In Ontario, 20,985,716 vaccine doses have been administered. 83.7% of Ontarians 12+ have one dose and 77.2% have two doses.
295 people are hospitalized with #COVID19, and 192 people are in ICU due to COVID-19. Please note that not all hospitals report on weekends and holidays.
