Thunder Bay Airport Loses International Status

Thunder Bay airport is no longer on Transport Canada’s International list.

The government advisory also indicates Hamilton’s airport, as well as Regina and Saskatoon are no longer on the list.

The site notes any airport that wants to be designated as international must have certain facilities and services.

Any airport that wishes to dispute this change, can appeal no later than June 30th.

There are 13 airports in Canada now considered International.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
