Thunder Bay accepting nominations for Arts and Heritage Awards

Thunder Bay has opened nominations for the city’s Arts and Heritage Awards.

Nominations are being accepted in 16 categories, such as visual art, music, film, heritage, cultural sponsor, and lifetime achievement.

Nomination can be submitted online until August 31 by clicking here.

“We look forward to an exciting return of the Arts and Heritage Awards to celebrate those who contribute to Thunder Bay’s vibrant cultural sector,” said Cultural Development and Public Art Coordinator, Caitlyn McMillan. “Everyone knows someone who is shaping our cultural landscape.”

“By taking a few moments to nominate them, you can help bring their work into the spotlight and celebrate the impact they’ve made.”

Awards will be presented at the 2025 Arts & Heritage Awards Gala on October 23 at Magnus Theatre.

Award recipients will receive a specially commissioned award by a local artist at the gala.
