The Perfect Holiday Bite: Cranberry Brie Bliss

There’s something about cranberry brie bites that feels like Christmas in one mouthful. The buttery pastry, the creamy brie, the tart cranberry – it’s a trio that sings like a carol. These little cups are warm, gooey, and just the right size to disappear in two bites (or one, if you’re mid-conversation at a holiday party).

They’re festive without being fussy. Elegant without being intimidating. And best of all? They smell like December — rich, sweet, and just a little bit woodsy if you top them with rosemary. Whether you’re hosting a cozy Thunder Bay gathering or dropping off a tray for a neighbor, these bites are the kind of treat that makes people pause and say, “Wait… what is this? It’s amazing.”

Cranberry Brie Bites Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry or crescent dough, thawed
  • 1 wheel of brie cheese, cut into ½-inch cubes
  • ½ cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs (optional)
  • Cooking spray or butter for greasing

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a mini muffin tin with cooking spray or butter.
  3. Cut dough into 24 squares and press each into the muffin cups to form a little shell.

4. Add a cube of brie to each shell.

5. Top with a spoonful of cranberry sauce — just enough to cover the cheese.

    6. Optional: Add a tiny sprig of rosemary to each for a festive touch.

    7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and the cheese is bubbling.

    8. Cool slightly before serving. They’re best warm, but still delicious at room temp.
