Canadian hero Terry Fox is being honoured across the country today with the annual run.
Local organizer Don Morrison says they hope to attract about 500 participants.
“As we all know, he ended his run just east of here, so there’s always been a strong connection for the city,” Morrison says.
The run will take place around Boulevard Lake with registration starting at 1 p.m., outside of St. Ignatius High School, followed by the run itself, which begins at 2 p.m., and ends at 4 p.m. (File photo)
