TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD! Lost dog found after 8 years!

4 times a day, Danny brings you “TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD”. Danny shares ‘good news stories’ / ‘feel good stories’…kind of like your ‘daily dose of optimism’. You can hear it weekdays at 6:35am / 9:10am / 1:10pm / 4:35pm.

Here’s one from TODAY:

The start of this story goes back to 2017: Paul and his family were moving from the East Coast to Arizona. At one of the rest stops, his miniature Pincher named Damian…got spooked, jumped off his leash and disappeared. They spent almost one week in the rest-stop area, but had no luck. Paul and his family had to make the difficult choice to give up and move on to their new home in Arizona.

As the months dragged on, and years…Paul never gave up. He would constantly post ‘lost dog’ ads around parts of the country, with the hope of someone who may have found Damian.

Are you ready for this? Last week, a woman from Oklahoma City nearly ran over a dog. She got out, it was a bit shaken. She brought him to a vet. They scanned for a microchip, and you guessed it: it was Damian. Paul and his family were on route to LA to help donate clothes to shelters from the wildfires…when he got the text of a lifetime. After 8 long years, Damian was reunited with his owner. AMAZING!
