Here’s a school tradition that I think everyone can get behind. High school football is huge, not only here in Canada – but also in the U.S.
This good news story takes us to a high school in Cincinnati. The senior football team created a powerful way to honor teachers who’ve made an impact on their lives. Before their big Friday night senior game last week……these young athletes gifted their jerseys to the teachers, staff and administrators who’ve supported them along the way. There’s a video on TikTok that went viral in just 4 days and has now been viewed over 10 million times.
The moment was captured saying this: “from security, to teacher to admin staff – no matter the title you hold – you never know who you can make an impact on. Everyday we come to work – it’s an opportunity to make an impact and these staff members have changed these young men’s lives – forever”. Even the National Football League commented saying – this is what it’s all about!
