Another day…and another story about ‘just how good taking a nap is for you / and your health’.
If you really like to take naps regularly, then you’ll be happy to know it has a bunch of benefits for your brain!  Some people think that taking a nap is lazy.  Did you know that in SPAIN it’s actually a recommended practice, and in other parts of Europe!

Scientists from the University College of London, claim that it can actually reduce your risk of developing dementia and increase your cognitive function as you get older.
Daytime sleep offers a short break from the demands of daily life, and allows your brain to recharge!  The scientists also say that napping anywhere from a ½ hour to an hour is perfect.  BUT, if you can even squeeze in a 20 minute daytime nap…it’s better than nothing.

Shhhhhhh…….I’m going to take a nap now!
