Grey is the colour at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
Officials say the facility is adapting its internal pandemic response to the Lockdown Level, which will include testing all new admissions for COVID-19, ramping down clinical services and limiting access for Essential Care Partners, contractors and vendors.
As of Tuesday, there were 21 patients being treated for COVID-19 with six of those in the Intensive Care Unit.
The medical/surgical hospital occupancy is at approximately 101.2% and the ICU occupancy is at 86.4%.
