TBDHU On Guard For Rising Cases

Self-isolate and assume you have COVID-19.

Due to an increase in the number of cases in the Thunder Bay District Health Unit, officials are asking you if you test positive to immediately self-isolate and don’t wait for the Provincial Workforce (PWF) or public health to contact you.

In addition, anyone else in your household to isolate as well, regardless of vaccination status.

Should you test positive on a rapid antigen test, assume you have COVID-19, isolate and have other members in your household isolate while they wait to get tested.

In a release Tuesday, the health unit said it’s in the process of implementing updated provincial guidance for case and contact management.
