Tbaytel is experiencing problems affecting its landline phone service.
The city run phone company says it’s affecting a segment of its residential and business customers in Thunder Bay and Fort Frances.
It says customers may be experiencing poor voice quality to their telephone service, loss of dial tone or one-way audio, or the inability to complete calls.
Officials says crews are working on the problem but it’s not known when service will be fully restored.
