What an incredible year it has been. From concept to launch, it’s been nerve wracking for all of us involved. ‘Will this work?’, ‘Will they love it?’ ‘Will they sing?’ Turns out, it will, you do and you did! Sweet Caroline has become the unofficial theme song of 999 The Bay since John insisted we play it…44 times in a row leading up to the official launch of the station. On August 27th, Choir Choir Choir came to town to close out Live on The Waterfront for the year and it coincided beautifully with our birthday celebrations. They graciously agreed to lead the crowd in a rendition of Sweet Caroline and had everyone wish us Happy Birthday. It was goosebump inducing to say the least!
Thank you to everyone who came to sing, everyone who listens, texts, calls and talks us up to their friends, we really appreciate all of the love! And to all of you silent listeners, only singing along in your cars/bathrooms/showers…we love you too!!!
