Investigators are looking into an overnight fire at Barb’s Laundromat on North Cumberland Street.
Thunder Bay Fire Rescue say they were called out just before one o’clock this morning to a strip mall between Van Horne and Wolseley Streets.
Crews were met with heavy smoke and fire inside the building, but were able to knock the flames down before it spread into the neighbouring Robin’s Donuts.
They say the cause of the fire is suspicious, and handed the scene over to Thunder bay Police.
The laundromat suffered heavy smoke and fire damage.
Nobody was inside the building when fire crews arrived.
