A 32-year-old man is charged with attempted murder and firearms offences after a shooting on Sunday.
Late Monday afternoon, city police tracked down the suspect in what they believe to be a targeted incident where the suspect and victim knew each other.
On Sunday night, the victim’s vehicle collided with a barrier at the Regional Health Sciences Centre.
Police say he had sustained serious injuries from a firearm before arriving at the hospital.
Terry Allen Pelto of Thunder Bay appeared in bail court today and is now back in custody.
