Students Reach Out To Isolated Seniors

Local students are helping seniors feel less isolated during COVID-19.

McKenzie Public School students wrote letters and made art for residents at two local retirement homes. Teacher Cathleen Armstrong explains they wanted to help seniors who are unable to have visitors due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Students made more than 100 letters and pieces of art for residents at Chartwell, and another 80 letters went to seniors at the Walford.
