A stolen pickup truck was found partially submerged in Lake Superior.
Officers were sent to a section of waterfront in the city on Thursday afternoon after receiving reports that a stolen vehicle was in the area.
When officers arrived in the area of Calvet Street, they found a pickup truck that had been driven into the water.
A female suspect was located and arrested.
As a result, a 23-year-old from Thunder Bay has been charged with theft of a motor vehicle, mischief over $5,0000, and impaired operation.
The accused appeared in court on Friday.
City police did not detail whether the accused was released from custody.
