Thunder Bay will soon be home to the global engineering company Stantec after the Alberta based firm has acquired True Grit Engineering.
True Grit President Eric Zakrewski indicates the change will mean making sure local clients will be better served.
He explains it will bring “the world to their doorstep” when it comes to offering services.
Zakrewski tells us the change will mean an increase in full time staff from 60 to over 100.
True Grit began in Thunder Bay in 2006 with three employees with satellite office in Sioux Lookout and Niagara Falls.
